FieldMan Solution for Everyone

Health, Safety & Environment

Everyone who arrives on a FieldMan site goes home in the same condition. That is the standard the rest of the programme is built around.

Our Commitment

Safety is a condition of work, not a department

Industrial construction carries real hazards: work at height, hot work beside flammable materials, energised equipment, confined spaces and heavy lifts — often all in a plant that is still producing. FieldMan treats the control of those hazards as part of the engineering, not as paperwork produced afterwards.

Every scope we price includes the access, isolation, barricading and supervision needed to do it safely. If a job cannot be done safely in the window offered, we say so before we sign, rather than discovering it at two in the morning during a shutdown.

Our standing rule: any worker, from any trade, may stop a task they believe is unsafe — without needing permission and without consequence.

How we actually control risk

These are not aspirations — they are the controls your site supervisor will see applied from day one of mobilisation.

Job Safety Analysis

Every task is broken down and assessed before work starts. The JSA is signed by the crew performing it, not filed by an office.

Permit to Work

Hot work, confined space, work at height, excavation and electrical isolation each run under a permit issued and closed by an authorised person.

Toolbox Talks

Short daily briefings covering the day's hazards, the method, and the emergency arrangements for that specific work front.

PPE & Equipment

Helmets, safety footwear, eye and hearing protection, harnesses and flame-retardant clothing supplied and enforced — including for visitors.

Scaffolding & Access

Erected by trained scaffolders, tagged, and inspected before each shift. No improvised access platforms, ever.

Lifting Plans

Every crane lift runs to a written plan: load calculation, ground bearing, exclusion zone, rigging inspection and a nominated signaller.

Training & Competency

Welders, riggers, electricians and scaffolders work to documented qualifications, with records available for client audit.

Environmental Control

Waste segregation, spill kits at fuel and oil points, dust and noise suppression, and removal of all construction debris at handover.

Quality Assurance

Documented quality, not assumed quality

Safety and quality come from the same discipline: doing the work to a written method and recording that you did. Our QA/QC process runs alongside HSE on every project.

  • Approved drawings and method statements before work begins
  • Material test certificates retained and handed over
  • Welder qualification records and weld visual inspection
  • Dimensional checks and alignment records for erected steel
  • Hydro-testing, megger and earth resistance test reports
  • Punch list closed and signed before demobilisation
  • As-built drawings issued as part of the handover pack
